The State University of Bahia (UNEB), through its Study and Research Group on Education, Religion, Culture, and Health (GEPERCS), attentive to the issues related to religiosity which involves a multifaceted complexity of cultures, creates the Center for Interdepartmental, Interinstitutional and International Studies and Research in Cultures and Religions (CEPICR). The CEPICR is composed by researchers from the Department of Human Sciences (DCH - Campus VI-Caetité), the Department of Humanities and Technological Sciences (DCHT- Campus XVII - Bom Jesus da Lapa, XX- Brumado and XXI - Ipiaú) and the Department of Education (DEDC - Campus XII - Guanambi and Campus XV - Valença) and other national and international higher education partners.
